La massoneria dalla Lombardia al Parlamento fascista: Farinacci e oltre, in «Studi bresciani. Nuova serie. Semestrale di storia moderna e contemporanea», n. 2, 2024, pp. 9-40, ISSN 1121-6557

The research conducted here delineates a precise time frame referring to a three-year period of particular importance, namely from the march on Rome until the promulgation of the law that banished associations: what will be examined within this three-year period is the co-presence of members of Parliament who were in charge with legislative power while also being affiliated to the same masonic lodges. We have thus started with a preliminary intervention, strictly archival and quite substantial, i.e. the cross-examination between the lists of names of deputies (appointed during the two legislatures, XXVI and XXVII, enclosing the three-year period) and senators (appointed before and during the above-mentioned legislatures) and those of the members of Freemasonry during the same period. The names of fourteen politicians from Lombardy stand out among those of the many freemasons who certainly result to be deputies or senators in charge during the only three-year period in which Fascism and Freemasonry coexisted in the halls of the Italian Parliament.
